This program is intended to aid both the new attorney and the experienced attorney hone their drafting skills. Understanding the key elements in contract negotiation and drafting are necessary skills for any business attorney. Most business transactions do not fit squarely into your old form and you must be able to think creatively to deliver to your client a deal specific agreement. Delivering a deal specific agreement requires drafting skills not taught in law school. This course will help you understand the key elements of negotiating the deal, contract formation and clarity in drafting. The contract drafter can never forget that not every deal is successful and this course will discuss remedies and the use of arbitration.
