In this section, the attendee will learn about differences between divorces involving military and non-military clients, issues that may arise under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, jurisdictional considerations and obtaining service of process and the Hague Convention. Attendees will also learn important information that is needed to represent a servicemember or their spouse. This includes what documents should be requested, what the information in the documents means, and what information is needed in order to properly represent a servicemember or the spouse.
