David Finz helps our clients derive the maximum benefit from their Cyber insurance coverage through the negotiation of favorable policy terms and effective claims advocacy. Over the past 13 years, he has worked with a wide range of public, private and not-for-profit enterprises, with a particular focus on communications, media and technology companies. David has also worked with professional services firms and businesses across all industries looking to insure against cyber risk.
David has been with Marsh since March of 2009 and previously served as a FINPRO claims advocate. His role as a claims advocate affords him unique insight into how coverage plays out in the context of an actual loss, enabling him to help our clients anticipate and effectively transfer risk.
Prior to joining Marsh, David was a vice president for Beecher Carlson in the areas of professional liability, directors and officers liability, ERISA/pension trust liability, and employment practices liability. At Beecher Carlson, he was responsible for the claims handling of insurance programs for both public and privately held companies, national non-profit organizations, real estate investment trusts, and private equity funds. David previously spent nine years in public service, including positions with the Internal Revenue Service and the Service Employees International Union.
