Defending Israel at the ICC: The Situation in Palestine, Pt. II (Retired)

The Court agreed to decide the issue, and recognizing the importance of this case, the Court asked for interested experts to weigh in and offer their observations on the issue. In March a number of States, organizations, think tanks, and individuals with relevant international law experience and expertise did just that, and the Court is now in the process of reviewing those submissions.

This special seminar will explain the background of this case, with a focus on the arguments made by various non-governmental organizations on behalf of the State of Israel’s position. Several of the actual drafters of those submissions will be joining us remotely from around the world to explain firsthand the arguments that they put forward.
