Course Description

Organization is the “key” to successful trial preparation. If an attorney is not organized, they will not be as effective at trial; furthermore, lack of organization may open the door to potential malpractice claims. Organization is a team effort involving everyone in the firm and begins with the initial consultation with the client. 3. Organize your trial notebook
  4. Discuss best practices for client and witness preparation
  5. Master scheduling ahead of trial
  6. Examine when and how to include and address subpoenas
  7. Review and prepare for courtroom set-up and procedures
  8. Prepare helpful trial checklists and reminders for yourself and your litigation team
