Course Description
This course will discuss common supply contract drafting and negotiation issues, from the perspectives of both a transactions lawyer and a commercial litigator. It will address issues in supply agreement negotiations that frequently lead to disputes, with helpful strategies for how to avoid these issues in the early stages of contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
Syllabus
- Identification of key issues in supply agreement negotiations that are likely to be the source of significant negotiations and potential disputes;
- Preparation of strategies in advance for negotiating disputed supply agreement provisions to your advantage;
- Discussion of tools designed to create supply agreements that will work to your client’s advantage if disputes arise.
