Course Description
Given the cases in front of the Supreme Court, there is a lot in play with the False Claims Act. While an overview of the cases will be provided, the focus of this webinar is to examine how bioethics fits into False Claims Act cases. This webinar focuses on bioethics and more specifically the role of both capacity and informed consent- both in clinical medicine and in relation to protected health information- and how it may lead to potential False Claims Act liability.
