Paul Townsend earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his juris doctorate from Brooklyn Law School. He began his career working as a prosecutor in Brooklyn, New York, where he was assigned to the major firearms and narcotics bureau. For nearly the past decade, he was worked in private practice as a defense attorney and is currently senior counsel at Robert C. Gottlieb & Associates, PLLC. He had tried cases in New York, California, and Vermont in both state and federal courts. He has written articles published in the New York law journal and is the host of In Summation – The Final Word, a popular legal podcast which explores famous criminal cases.
