John Broghammer has been representing, counseling and defending design professionals for more than 25 of his 34 years of practice as a lawyer. He has extensive litigation experience, including numerous trials and arbitrations. He has given 15+ national webinars in addition to countless national, state and regional presentations on issues pertinent to design professionals. John was born in Nebraska, grew up in South Dakota, and attended Creighton University for both undergrad and law school. John is currently a partner at Sims, Lawrence & Broghammer in the Sacramento, CA area, a 36-lawyer firm specializing in the defense of design professionals, representing contractors in construction defect claims, general litigation, insurance coverage and defense of entities which provide services to those with special needs.
