David W Henry Esq

David W. Henry is a former litigator who now serves as a civil mediator for business, fiduciary, insurance, and commercial litigation. His experience as a mediator and arbitrator includes resolution of patent litigation, shareholder disputes, construction claims, professional malpractice, employment matters and insurance-related claims. He was appointed to Florida Supreme Court ADR Rules and Policy Committee in 2022 and has held leadership positions in state and local bar organizations. His articles on mediation have been published by the ABA, the Florida Bar Journal and local and state bar publications. He has been a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Mediator since 2006. He attended the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, on a Bobby Jones Fellowship, and later graduated from Emory University in 1985. He obtained his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law where he served on the Moot Court Board. He is the past chair of the ADR Committee of the FDLA. For several years he has published a nationally distributed newsletter, Mediation Minute, which is devoted to mediation advocacy and ethics.
