Course Description

Equine attorney Allison Eklund will present an up-to-the-minute webinar for attorneys and horse industry professionals reporting on the state of equestrian sports in the United States and legal issues affecting horse owners and competitive event organizers. A legislative update will explain and offer guidance on new regulations under the Federal Horse Protection Act. Eklund will offer a synopsis of nationwide developments in sports including horse racing, horse shows, rodeos, and other competitions. Updates on industry staples such as ownership contracts, insurance, and interstate transportation to equestrian events.
