Gail Gottehrer is the Founder of Gail Gottehrer Consulting LLC. In that role, she combines her extensive experience as a law firm partner, Vice President for global legal matters at a public company, and as an international thought leader to empower organizations achieve market share and ROI from the adoption of innovative technologies while mitigating risk. 

She is an expert on the cybersecurity, privacy, and legal issues associated the data collected and used by generative and agentic AI, biometric devices, autonomous vehicles, and other emerging technologies. 

Gail has earned Certifications in AI and Evolving Technologies from MIT, the Kellogg School of Management and the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS). She is also one of the few defense lawyers to have tried a class action to verdict before a jury. 

Gail has taught technology law courses for judges at the National Judicial College and the New York State Judicial Institute, guest lectured on vehicle data regulation at Stanford University, the Wharton School, and Interpol, and taught Law for Knowledge Innovation at Columbia University.
