I have been a licensed attorney working in the Washington, DC area since 2010, after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Washington University in St. Louis. I am currently licensed to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland. I founded JD Lane Law in 2017 and since then have directly served over 250 clients in the District of Columbia and Maryland, primarily in family law. My practice includes all aspects of trial and appellate family court practice. I have won an appeal in the highest court of the District of Columbia. I have been interviewed and cited as a family law expert in publications including The New York Times. I have given a variety of public presentations on family law, and am the co-author of multiple peer-reviewed journal articles about child custody, one of which was cited in the ABA Journal, the most-read legal publication in the United States.Â
