Tab is dual licensed as an Attorney and CPA, as well as having his MBA in International Human Resource Management. He has served as an expert witness for business valuation cases and has been a guest speaker on taxes and tax planning for local chambers of commerce and radio programs. Has served as both legal counsel and chief financial officer for firms in the Tennessee and Atlanta markets with gross revenues up to $5 million. He has served on the regional Board of Director for the American Red Cross and was their local media spokesperson during Hurricane Katrina and the Gatlinburg Fires. He is currently serving as treasurer for three non-profit organizations, local and national, and was treasurer and founding board member of Family Promise of Blount County. He has been a guest speaker on national syndicated podcasts and has been interviewed by local and national media in regard to the effects on the 2017 Tax law changes and its impacts on the non-profit community
