Allison Bussell, Esq.

Allison Bussell is a seasoned litigator, having tried more cases and argued more federal appeals to date than many civil litigators experience during an entire career. Having a particular interest in civil rights and employment law, Allison began her career as a federal judicial law clerk in the Eastern District of Kentucky. Her desire to practice civil rights law led her to the city attorney’s office in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, where she practiced for more than nine years. While a four-year detour in private practice as the managing partner of a local law firm provided Allison with a more diverse legal and business experience, her heart for public service and city government eventually led her back to the Metro Nashville law department, where she practices today.

Allison obtained her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in 2001 from Middle Tennessee State University. She obtained her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee in 2004, qualifying her for the Order of the Coif.
