Brett A Cenkus Esq

Brett Cenkus runs Cenkus Law, a corporate transactional firm with a focus on capital raising (securities laws) and mergers and acquisitions. Brett is the former General Counsel for Trico Marine Group (NSDQ: TRMA) and its spin-off, DeepOcean Group (https://deepoceangroup.com/). Earlier in his legal career, he worked for Skadden, Arps, and then later for Andrews Kurth.

Brett has spent a lot of his career in entrepreneurial and financial roles. He was a venture capitalist and corporate development (M&A) executive for a publicly-traded media company during Dotcom 1.0. And he founded, grew, and sold a residential mortgage brokerage during the early-mid 2000s. 

Brett graduated from Harvard Law School and Messiah College (B.A. Economics). He lives in Austin, Texas and has a daughter (8) and son (5).
