Maine CLE Requirements

Total Credits Required:  11 hours per period


Specialty Credits Required: 1 hour ethics or professionalism per period


Reporting Period: 1 year


End of Period: August 31


Credit Hour: 60 minutes. Attorney will earn 1 credit for every 60 minutes of instruction.


Attendance Reporting:  Please retain the LawPracticeCLE Certificate of Attendance for your records. A Maine licensed attorney shall independently submit an application for accreditation and a certificate of attendance, together with the requisite fee, no later than 60 days following the program completion date.

Paralegals: Should a paralegal need CLE credit, the paralegal should notify LawPracticeCLE of their paralegal status, so the Accreditation Administration team can seek accreditation with the NALA for approval in their state via reciprocity.
