Matthew Rutherford

Matthew (Matt) E. Rutherford, Jr. received his undergraduate degree in 2008 from the University of Mississippi and his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2013 from Mississippi College School of Law. He was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2013.

Matt is admitted to practice before all state courts in Mississippi, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Mississippi Bar Association. Matt’s practice focuses on general insurance defense, including motor vehicle accidents, transportation law, commercial trucking, premises liability, personal injury, and professional malpractice.
