Meredith Biggs joined Gunster in 2015, and is an associate in the Labor & Employment practice group. Meredith focuses on resolving employment disputes, including claims involving Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act regarding discrimination or sexual harassment. She is also involved in claims pertaining to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), as well as non-compete agreements and contract disputes, among others. In addition, Meredith advises clients on employment-related issues as they arise and answers questions related to the hiring or firing of an employee. Meredith’s trial experience as a former prosecutor enables her to fearlessly advocate for her clients in either state or federal court.
