Course Description
An overview of the many new personal rights and identity issues that are arising as a result of AI technology. Currently, intellectual property law has some large gaps when it comes to privacy and publicity rights. NIL and existing copyright laws do not adequately address these issues; we will discuss both what the best practices are for operating in this space and what changes are likely forthcoming. The course will also look at protecting social media posts, both AI generated and human generated.
