Course Description

This course will compare state and federal laws on paid family leave in the United States, Europe, and India. We will compare and contrast the laws and discuss how legislation impacts the ability to balance work and personal life within each culture. We will examine laws that provide for paid family leave for both partners in a marriage. We will also discuss cultural factors that impact the glass ceiling and prevent women from reaching top levels in the workplace.
