Equine law attorney Allison Eklund will present the basic framework of an equine law practice for legal practitioners and equine professionals to understand the laws and tools available to mitigate risk and structure contracts that support this important sporting and lifestyle industry. Topics covered include equine and livestock liability statutes, best practices for risk management, contracts and common clauses, and a legislative update regarding recent changes to the regulatory framework for horse shows and exhibitions.
