Course Description
Federal civil actions often are won or lost during motion practice. This session explores the challenges and opportunities associated with motion practice during several critical junctures of a case – dismissal motions, motions for judgment on the pleadings, Daubert motions, and motions for summary judgment. We’ll focus on recent case law reflecting the important issues raised by these types of motions.
