Course Description
This program explores the ethical considerations and professional responsibilities involved in client referrals, co-counsel relationships, and lawyer advertising and solicitation. The speaker will provide a comprehensive overview of relevant ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct, including Rules 1.5, 5.4, 7.1–7.3. Participants will learn how to navigate fee-splitting arrangements, avoid misleading advertising, and ensure compliance with solicitation rules. The session emphasizes best practices to protect client interests and maintain professional integrity in referral and marketing activities.
