Course Description

Cybersecurity obligations are not unilateral. Any person who has taken the time to read a variety of terms and conditions or contracts with major tech providers of cloud services appreciates or should appreciate the notion that cybersecurity is a shared responsibility between the parties – whether it is a health care HIPAA covered entity or business associate or a government contractor. Zero trust dovetails with SSRM in its advocacy of models that utilize strong authentication and authorization for every device and every user, which are continuously monitored. The purpose of this presentation is to teach participants key terms and how mutual obligations can and should be deployed to decrease systemic risk of a cyber-attack.
