Course Description
This course examines the medical issues that most frequently arise in workers’ compensation claims and the legal strategies for effectively addressing them. Participants will explore best practices for establishing medical causation, managing competing expert testimony, and evaluating complex injuries and conditions that can significantly impact claim outcomes. The program will cover traumatic brain injuries and concussions, spinal cord injuries, pre-existing conditions, occupational stress, and repetitive motion or cumulative trauma claims. Attendees will gain practical insights into navigating medico-legal challenges and developing effective litigation and claim management strategies in workers’ compensation cases.
