Puerto Rico CLE Requirements

Total Credits Required:  24 credit hours every 2 years. At least 16 hours of the CLE requirement must be Live.


Specialty Credits Required: 4 hour Legal Ethics


Reporting Period: 1 year


End of Period: Every odd year by licensee’s birth date


Credit Hour: 60 minutes. Attorney will earn 1 credit for every 60 minutes of instruction.


Attendance Reporting: Attorneys are required to self-report attendance.

Live Programs: In-person Seminars, Live Webinars and Rebroadcasts


On-Demand Programs: On-Demand Courses

Paralegals: Should a paralegal need CLE credit, the paralegal should notify LawPracticeCLE of their paralegal status, so the Accreditation Administration team can seek accreditation with the NALA for approval in their state via reciprocity.
