Rhode Island CLE Requirements

Total Credits Required:  10 hours per period


Specialty Credits Required: 2 hours ethics per period


Reporting Period: 1 year


End of Period: June 30


Credit Hour: 50 minutes. Attorney will earn 1 credit for every 50 minutes of instruction.


Attendance Reporting: Attorneys are required to seek CLE approval and self-report attendance. LawPracticeCLE will provide all necessary documents for accreditation.

Paralegals: Should a paralegal need CLE credit, the paralegal should notify LawPracticeCLE of their paralegal status, so the Accreditation Administration team can seek accreditation with the NALA for approval in their state via reciprocity.
