Vanessa Kanaga has nearly two decades of experience specializing in estate planning. She earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School and holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Wichita State University, as well as an Advanced Professional Certificate from New York University School of Law. Vanessa began her legal career in New York, practicing at Milbank LLP and Moses & Singer LLP before returning to her hometown of Wichita, Kansas, to practice at Hinkle Law Firm LLC. From there, Vanessa embarked on a career in the field of legal technology with InterActive Legal, a technology company offering automated drafting and other solutions for estate planning attorneys, serving as CEO of the company from 2021-2023. Realizing that she missed the satisfaction of solving problems for clients, Vanessa returned to practice in 2024, and is now Of Counsel at Becker & House, a Scottsdale, Arizona firm specializing in estate planning, probate, administration, and estate and trust litigation. Vanessa is licensed in Arizona, New York, and Kansas.
