Zach B. Shelomith is a founding Partner at Leiderman Shelomith Alexander + Somodevilla, PLLC.  He handles personal bankruptcy matters, corporate bankruptcy matters, Assignments for the Benefit of Creditors, bankruptcy litigation and student loan law matters, representing debtors, creditors, bankruptcy trustees and student loan borrowers. Zach has experience in Chapter 7, 11, 12 and 13 bankruptcy cases.

Born in North Miami, Florida and raised in Hollywood, Florida, Zach graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a major in finance and a minor in philosophy.  Zach graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1997 with a Juris Doctor, where he was awarded the American Bankruptcy Journal Prize.

Prior to forming the firm, Zach served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable A. Jay Cristol, Chief Bankruptcy Judge Emeritus for the Southern District of Florida and was a founding Shareholder of Leiderman Shelomith, P.A.  In the last six years, Zach has served as a director and then an officer of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida, holding various positions, and holding the position of President Elect as of July 1, 2017.
