Beth Persky has practiced immigration law for more than 30 years and is licensed in California. She currently lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia.
For the past several years, she has attended the UN Commission on the Status of Women meetings where she has observed that legislation in some countries allows greater advancement of women in the workplace. Beth received her J.D. from the Boston University School of Law in 1991 and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University in 1992 She studied international and comparative law and wrote a parallel report for the UN Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
