Executive Order 14370 was signed on Dec. 18, 2025, instructing Congress to expedite the reclassification of cannabis from a Class I to a Class III substance under the CSA. This CLE course will analyze the impact of reclassifying marijuana as a Class III substance under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) on the availability and scope of insurance coverage for cannabis-related businesses.
