Minh N. Vu, Esq.

Minh N Vu Esq

Minh Vu is a partner in the Washington D.C. office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP and the head of the firm’s national ADA Title III Team—the largest and most experienced team of its kind in the country. With more than 30 years of litigation experience in federal courts and other tribunals, Minh has spent the past 20 years focusing exclusively on disability access issues under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Housing Act, the Rehabilitation Act, and related federal and state laws that prohibit discrimination by public accommodations and housing providers.

Minh serves as ADA counsel to many of the nation’s leading hospitality, banking, higher education, and retail companies, and has handled countless disability access lawsuits—both single-plaintiff and class actions—concerning physical facilities and digital accessibility. She is the Editor of the ADA Title III News & Insights Blog, where she regularly shares legal updates and practical guidance. In 2012, Minh authored the ADA Guide for Lodging Owners and Operators, published by the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

She and her team have collectively handled more than a thousand lawsuits, demand letters, and government investigations involving allegedly inaccessible websites, mobile apps, and kiosks and also counsels clients on the process of making these assets accessible in a constantly changing legal environment where there are no clear rules. Ms. Vu oversaw the enforcement of ADA Title III as Counselor to the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Justice and focuses her practice exclusively on advising on and defending businesses against disability discrimination matters in public accommodations and housing.
