Course Description

Medical records are an essential part of litigation in cases related to medical malpractice, personal injury, and Workers’ compensation litigation. In this course, Attorney Jani & Dr. Stein will discuss important topics related to obtaining medical records, reviewing and understanding medical records (including AI technology). In addition, the course will discuss obtaining/interpreting audit trails (the Metadata of the EMR) and where important electronically stored information (ESI) may be found outside of the EMR.
