Randy Turner currently practices animal law in Fort Worth, Texas. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado and is board-certified in personal injury trial law and civil trial law. He was one of the founding members and is a past chair of the Animal Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. He has served on the boards of directors of several animal welfare organizations, including the Texas Humane Legislation Network and the Humane Society of North Texas. He has worked as a volunteer in Borneo, Indonesia on orangutan rescue and rehabilitation, in Kenya on elephant conservation, and in Zimbabwe on black rhinoceros’ conservation. Randy has handled animal cases in the United States and Texas Supreme Courts. He has been representing disabled people with service animals, animal welfare & rescue organizations, wildlife sanctuaries, animal owners, and animal rights activists for over 40 years. He regularly teaches and writes on animal law and has testified several times in the Texas legislature concerning bills affecting animals.
